Destination 814 is a scratch kitchen and bourbon bar located in the heart of LaGrange, Indiana. We pride ourselves on our hand crafted burgers/sandwiches, homemade dishes, and wide variety of allocated bourbons and craft beers. Our commitment to our customers is executed on a daily basis by our friendly staff and proven through our 21 years of experience in the business. Through Destination 814, we hope to bring a big city feel to our hometown of LaGrange!
25 Craft Beers
A special feature at Destination 814 is our Craft Beer Passport that was created by Anthony before opening in February 2022.
Our Craft Beer Passport has a wide variety of 25 craft beers located in many different states across the Midwest. To complete the passport, you must drink beers #1 through #25 to receive a special prize from Destination 814.

OUR HISTORY
owned and operated by LaGrange residents Anthony and Cheri Riegling
Both growing up in the Northeast Indiana area, they got their start in the industry in their early 20s.
In 2002, they decided to open Grossman’s Tap Room, later changed to Grossman’s Restaurant and Lounge.
Grossman’s Restaurant and Lounge is widely known around the area as the hip place around town with a fun atmosphere and great events throughout the year.
Together they operated Grossman’s for over 13 years before solely focusing on their 2nd bar/restaurant Riegling’s CopperTop Tavern, which opens in 2013.
CopperTop, located in Wolcottville, IN, was the go to place for all lake residents in the area as they always had big burgers, the biggest games on TV, and icy cold beer on tap.
During the CopperTop years, local fan favorite bands wound up in the famous Beer Garden that fit over 450 people during busy nights.
In 2019, Anthony and Cheri decided it was time for a change and chose to sell CopperTop that spring.
Neither of them wanted to be done in the bar business and always knew there would be a third opportunity come around at some point.
That opportunity came in March of 2020 when an old car dealership south of downtown LaGrange went up for sale.
After long discussions, Anthony and Cheri decided it was time to come back home to LaGrange and begin the process of opening a new bar.
Although the process took longer than expected, they battled through to open Destination 814 in February of 2022. Anthony and Cheri continue to operate Destination 814 on a daily basis and love seeing the smiles on customers faces as they munch on our entrees and scuffle down our bourbon and draft beer.
